Hello everyone!  My name is Catherine Capra-Leaf  and I am so honored to be here connecting with other widowed friends!  I am a widow turned author from Hugo Mn. Helping other women navigate through this difficult journey called grief has becoming such a healing outreach for me.  I am so thankful  for the opportunity to share my evolving story of reinvention into the world that I got left behind on. Grief is one of the most lonely, isolating, and vulnerable walks you can take.  It is why we are all so important to each other. My hope is that you find your healing, and know that you are understood and cared for.

Catherine Capra-Leaf Author of “Profound Blessings” An inspiring memoir of her journey through grief after the loss of her husband. Catherine is a life long resident of Minnesota. She graduated from Mariner High school in White Bear Lake in 1976, and attended the University of Minnesota: Duluth.  She was married in 1979 to Michael Leaf, and has three daughters, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Heather. After her husband's death, she felt inspired to write about her experience of tremendous loss, and to hopefully  help others to find their personal strength through her story. She continues to speak with groups to tell her story and make a difference.
