A droplet of water hits a puddle. In that instant of impact, it forms a shape that is unseen by the human eye.  In it’s lightening speed, we don’t see it’s beauty… but it there. Something beautiful and unique was formed and became part of something bigger and more beautiful. We must remember, even in these dark moments of grief, that the purpose in our lives are both unique and powerful and are not always seen by the naked eye. But in time, we will understand our purposeful lives too, and become part of something bigger and more beautiful–Catherine Capra-Leaf1842199_orig

Catherine Capra-Leaf Author of “Profound Blessings” An inspiring memoir of her journey through grief after the loss of her husband. Catherine is a life long resident of Minnesota. She graduated from Mariner High school in White Bear Lake in 1976, and attended the University of Minnesota: Duluth.  She was married in 1979 to Michael Leaf, and has three daughters, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Heather. After her husband's death, she felt inspired to write about her experience of tremendous loss, and to hopefully  help others to find their personal strength through her story. She continues to speak with groups to tell her story and make a difference.
